"We have been using a Type 862 grain and vegetable mill for over 30 years, and it still works reliably." - Walter D. from Bremerhaven

"My Aunt Babs, a friend of my mother's, gave me the nut mill. I assume it was in the late 70s, as I had just discovered baking as a teenager, and nut cake is still the only cake I can really bake well.
Sometime in the late 80s, the desire for a grain mill arose. Back then, researching the different grinding mechanisms and models was really time-consuming: reading brochures, sending for product descriptions, reading reports from Stiftung Warentest. With a small budget, I decided on this model, which still works flawlessly today. I also like being able to completely disassemble and clean the mill. Now, with increasing age – I'm already 61 – it's becoming more arduous to grind everything myself, as I'm still working. Grinding flour for pancakes is still manageable, but grinding flour and nuts for a cake, or flour for a whole loaf of bread…
So, an electric mill was needed. And after encountering repeated problems with ceramic grinders and buckwheat during my research – now conveniently done online – which my old mill never had, it was clear that a steel grinder was the way to go. And now I have a beautiful electric grain mill from Jupiter.
The buckwheat flour for pancakes is now ground very quickly. I still have to try whether the nuts can be grated just as easily and finely with the grater. And if it's not fine enough, I can always order the finer grater." - Sabine N. from Hamburg
