All About Your Flake Crusher

Which foods can I flake with the flaker?
Grains: oats, wheat, spelt, green spelt, rye, barley, buckwheat, millet, rice. Dried spices: coriander, caraway, fennel, anise, black pepper. Oilseeds: flaxseed.
Tip: Oats and flaxseed naturally have a higher fat content and therefore produce nicer flakes.

How can I disassemble the flaker?
Remove the flaker from the drive device and take off the filling funnel. Loosen the screws and remove the housing. You can now pull out the knurled roller and remove the wedge. Reassemble in reverse order.

How can I properly clean the flaker?
After some time or if the flaker has not been used for a while, a thorough cleaning is advisable. Disassemble the flaker as described. You can clean the housing parts with a damp cloth. Clean the knurled roller and wedge with a dry brush or paintbrush.
Important: Do not soak the housing parts, knurled roller, or wedge in water or clean them under running water.

The grain is not feeding through – what can I do?
If the grain is not feeding through, try to carefully remove the obstruction. Be sure not to press with a hard object (knife or spoon handle) or your finger.
