About the grinding discs and blades

2 mm grinding plate

This plate is ideal for the finest preparations, such as chicken or vegetable pâtés, liver dumplings, spinach for very young children, or delicate sausage specialties.

3 mm grinding plate

The 3 mm grinding plate is a true all-rounder. Whether for pea or lentil soup, tartare, ketchup, or Leberkäse, this grinding plate is always the right choice.

4.5 mm grinding plate

This grinding plate processes matjes fillets and firm meat just as reliably as leeks or mushrooms. It is therefore ideal for common sausage fillings and minced meat.

6 mm grinding plate

The 6 mm grinding plate produces a coarser result than the 4.5 mm version. It is particularly suitable for rustic minced meat and coarse sausage fillings when a more pronounced structure in the meat or mixture is desired.

8 mm grinding plate

This grinding plate can also process firm or sinewy meat. It is also very suitable for preparation, allowing the meat to be minced again with a smaller grinding plate.

8 mm grinding plate, 4-square-hole

Together with the 2-blade stainless steel knife, the 8 mm 4-square-hole grinding plate forms the bacon dicing set, which finely dices bacon in the shortest possible time.

12 mm grinding plate

The 12 mm grinding plate produces a very coarse result with a clearly visible structure. It is also suitable as a pre-mincing plate when the meat is to be minced more finely afterward with a smaller grinding plate.

13 mm grinding plate, 4-square-hole

This grinding plate produces a very coarse, chunky result. It is particularly suitable as a pre-mincing plate for the first pass, breaking the meat into coarse pieces before processing it further with a smaller grinding plate.

14 mm grinding plate

This grinding plate produces an extra-coarse, chunky mincing result and is rather unsuitable for vegetables.

2-blade stainless steel knife

The 2-blade stainless steel knife is used in combination with a 4-square-hole grinding plate (e.g., 8 mm) to form the bacon dicing set. Its two-blade design processes the bacon into uniform cubes. This is not possible with a 4-blade knife.

4-blade stainless steel knife

The 4-blade stainless steel knife is used with all grinding plates with round holes. Its four blades cut meat, fish, and vegetables evenly and cleanly, creating a homogeneous result - ideal for minced meat, sausage fillings, and the daily processing of a wide variety of ingredients.
