FAQ

All about the Thermomaster

What do I need to consider when operating the Thermomaster?
The On/Off switch is only for starting or interrupting the program. To switch the device on and off, the power plug must be pulled. Always set the time first, then the temperature, and finally the speed.

What should I consider when using the mixing paddle?
The mixing paddle should only be used at levels 1-3 and is therefore only displayed at these speed levels.

What should I consider when preparing doughs?
To prevent overloading the device, you should not use more than 300g of flour + other ingredients for doughs.

What should I consider when steam cooking with the Thermomaster?
If you only want to steam cook, it is best to pre-heat the water for the pot in a kettle. Make sure you add at least 1 liter of water, preferably 1.5 liters, to the pot. By pre-heating, you already have a certain "basic steam". Then set the device to approx. 30 minutes, 130° and level 3, depending on the food. If a sauce thickened with flour is being prepared in the pot at the same time, please add the flour to the liquid only at the end.

What can I do if the lid is difficult to open and close?
If the lid is a little stiff to open and close initially, you can oil the rubber seal with a little cooking oil.

How can I set temperatures above 37 degrees?
From level 4 onwards, only a temperature of 37 degrees is possible. This is regulated for safety reasons. If you want to set higher temperatures, this is only possible at speed levels 1-3.

Is it normal for my Thermomaster to emit an odor initially?
Initially, or due to heavy use, the motor heating up can lead to an odor. This odor is absolutely harmless to health and does not represent a defect in quality. The reason for this is that electric motors contain "carbon brushes" and the motor is provided with a lubricant.

My device is overloaded and shows error message E3 – what can I do?
If the device should be overloaded (error message E3), disconnect it from the power supply. After a cooling period of approx. 10-15 minutes, it will be ready for use again.
