FAQ

All About the Thermomaster

What should I keep in mind when operating the Thermomaster?
The On/Off switch is only for starting or pausing the program. To turn the device on or off, you must unplug it. Always set the time first, then the temperature, and finally the speed.

What should I consider when using the mixing blade?
The mixing blade should only be used at speeds 1-3 and is therefore only displayed on the screen at these speed levels.

What should I keep in mind when making dough?
To prevent overloading the device, do not use more than 300g of flour plus other ingredients when making dough.

What should I consider when steam cooking with the Thermomaster?
If you only want to steam cook, it’s best to preheat the water for the pot in a kettle. Make sure to add at least 1 liter of water, preferably 1.5 liters, to the pot. Preheating provides a certain “base steam.” Then set the device depending on the food to about 30 minutes, 130°C, and speed 3. If you are preparing a flour-thickened sauce in the pot at the same time, add the flour to the liquid only at the end.

What can I do if the lid is difficult to open and close?
If the lid is initially a bit hard to open and close, you can lubricate the rubber seal with a little cooking oil.

How can I set temperatures above 37 degrees?
From speed 4 onwards, only a temperature of 37 degrees is possible. This is regulated for safety reasons. If you want to set higher temperatures, this is only possible at speed levels 1-3.

Is it normal for my Thermomaster to develop a smell at first?
Initially or due to heavy use, the motor warming up can cause a smell. This odor is completely harmless to health and does not indicate a quality defect. The reason is that electric motors contain “carbon brushes” and the motor is lubricated.

My device is overloaded and shows the error message E3 – what can I do?
If the device is overloaded (error message E3), disconnect it from the power supply. After a cooling period of about 10-15 minutes, it will be ready to use again.
